We are looking for a Night Porter at the Park Plaza Cardiff.

The Park Plaza Hotel Cardiff is a successful 4-star deluxe hotel located in the centre of the city. The hotel offers 129 bedrooms, a 120 seater Brassiere style restaurant, a busy bar; modern meeting and event facilities accommodating up to 150 guests for dinner, the Kuku for private hire and the luxurious Laguna Health & Spa.

In this role you will be responsible for providing a professional front desk service to guests including late arrivals and assisting with early departures.

Duties:

• Maintaining standards of cleanliness and presentation within the lobby and entrance area
• Preparing and delivering Room Service, as requested by hotel guests
• Assisting with luggage and guest belongings
• Escorting guests to rooms and providing information on the hotel and room facilities
• Providing information on local services and directions
• Responding to guest queries and liaising with the Night Manager and Front Desk to ensure satisfactory solutions
• Carrying out night cleaning duties
• Handling internal and external telephones
• Maintaining security standards and addressing issues
• Supporting our Food and Beverage departments as required

You:

• Flexible in your approach to work and is happy to work night shifts
• Are able to project a smart and professional image
• Are a good people communicator
• Have experience in Food and beverage
• Are able to deliver a high level of customer service

Working 4-5 shifts per week, on a rota basis between 11 pm and 7 am. Overtime available for holiday cover.

Previous related work experience is essential, and candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
