Restaurant Supervisor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and hard-working individual to join our restaurant team.
As a Restaurant Supervisor you will be working under the direction of the Restaurant Manager and you will be required to assist in the daily running of the department, in line with agreed standards of service and customer care.
Duties Include:
- Assisting the Restaurant Manager with the daily running of the restaurant
- Delegating tasks, supervising the restaurant team and maintaining levels of discipline
- Delivering the highest levels of customer service and leading from the front
- Assisting with the administration and delivery of staff training
- Taking restaurant bookings, managing the diary and answering customer queries
- Meeting and greeting guests and escorting them to their table
- Taking food and drink orders and offering recommendations
- Assisting with the service of food and drink items
- Operating a Micros System and all related cash and administrative procedures
- Assisting with the achievement of all financial targets and related standards of product and service.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible in their attitude to work and be able to work 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis. You will need to be well groomed with excellent customer care skills, including fluency in English and have the ability to act calmly and patiently. Previous experience in a similar work environment is essential; as you will need to draw upon your experience and passion for food and drink, to strive to exceed our quests expectations.
