Our F&B department is an integral part of our business and we offer everything from meetings and conferences, wedding and charity dinners and we even boast a Moroccan style club for private hire.

We also have our award winning Laguna Kitchen & Bar offering the very best in fresh, local produce creating a range of mouth watering dishes.

In this role you will assist in the day to day operation of the F&B department, primarily within our events department. We will expect you to deliver a consistent and high standard of product and service, optimise sales opportunities and ensure the effective performance of the team. Your role may have you working across the departments, ensuring the very highest standards are being met.

You:

  • A customer service champion
  • Able to follow instructions and follow setup guidelines
  • Flexible in your approach to work
  • Ability to work alone and work to deadlines
  • Minimum 2 years experience in F&B
  • Ability to manage a team

Duties:

  • Setting up conferences in line with client’s requirements and business standards
  • Preparing function rooms for the day’s business
  • Serving breaks and lunches
  • Running small events
  • Clearing and servicing meeting rooms
  • Serving on the Laguna Bar and supervising the team.
  • Assist in the delivery of breakfast and supervise the department when necessary
  • Assisting the F&B team in the day-to-day operations
  • Assisting the F&B manager in their departmental tasks

Hours of Work:
39 hour contract

Previous related work experience is hotels or conferencing is desirable.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
